Face Masks and Face Covering Exemption Cards

New rules say you must now wear a face covering on a:

  • Bus or train
  • Ferry or plane
  • And in hospitals

You may be asked to wear a mask at a station.

You may not be allowed to travel or have to pay a fine if you do not wear a mask.

You do not need to wear a mask if:

  • You have a disability
  • You have breathing problems
  • A deaf person needs to read your lips
  • You are a child under 11

A face mask does not protect you. We wear a face mask to protect other people.
